Refugee Rally
Refugees from around New Haven rallied downtown this past Sunday. They were from countries like Syria, Iraq, and other predominantly Muslim countries who came together to show their love for everyone and denounce the terrorism and racism occurring here and abroad. Omar Mousa, a Muslim International Academy student, was there holding a sign (see picture below). He said, "I want to show everyone I love them. I do not hate anyone."
