Artspace Summer Apprenticeship
IADAS students Victoria Gonzalez, Lola Mwilelo, and Lisa Mwinja participated in Artspace's Summer Apprenticeship Program, working in collaboration with artist Wardell Milan to think about the ways identity is constructed in social space and explore non-conforming aspects of identity through art. They joined other students from Cross, along with other New Haven high school students, for this summer program.
They presented their artwork and theatrical pieces to the public last Friday evening at Artspace. Their art will remain on display at Artspace through September 10, so stop by next time you're downtown!
