Ahmed's Yale Tech Internship

This last summer IADAS student Ahmed Salman participated in the Yale Information Technology Services (ITS) internship program. He worked as a member of Desktop Support, helping support the technology needs of the Yale community over the course of this 6-week program.

Ahmed described the technology tasks he completed during the internship--"I learned a lot of stuff with them like imaging PC's and Mac’s. We also learned how to use the deploy studio in the Mac server to control all the Macs in the Yale Medical School classrooms. We also replaced over 48 Macs for Yale Medical School."

Ahmed shared the other activities he participated in during the internship--"We had a lot of fun in the internship program. We went to the art museum, and had picnics and barbecues. We even made a giant 'hamster wheel' out of the empty iMac boxes we had from the Yale Medical School project." See the "hamster wheel" they made below!
