Concerned about Ferguson, Baltimore and the injustices here in Connecticut? Have your voice heard! Help design an innovative art exhibition at Artspace that looks at the issues around racial bias in the Justice system. Create theatre and spoken word responding to the Jerome Project, a growing body of powerful portraits of incarcerated men by New Haven artist Titus Kaphar. By walking in others’ shoes and understanding our own, this project bridges the gap between a racialized justice system and youth who are often its targets.Your creative output will be seen by hundreds of people and and celebrated with an opening reception and public performance.
