This past Saturday, IA had two teams competing in the Skills21 Expo at the XL Center in Hartford.
-- Ms. Fischer coached a team that created an eco friendly hand sanitizer that used aloe and essential oils as a base instead of alcohol.
-- Mr. Mikita and Ms. Mack coached a team that raised awareness about house fires caused by heat generated by cell phones that were left on people’s beds during the night. They envisioned a fire proof cell phone case that would attend to this issue.
