On October 4, 2013, the 9th graders at the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences ventured up the mountain to East Rock.
They participated in learning activities in Art and Social Studies as well as team building exercises to strengthen our community.
Students drew a landscape of New Haven to depict their home town in their artistic memoir. Students focused on vocab and drawing techniques such as horizon line, one point perspective, and vanishing point.The Social Studies Team planned an experiential learning activity where students applied the 5 themes of geography. Students also reinforced their map skills.
